Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment brings you the ultimate spy game as two best friends fight for the right of one woman’s heart in THIS MEANS WAR, now available on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Download. Starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine (Star Trek), and Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises), the laugh-out-loud comedy gets even better on Blu-ray with three alternate endings that answer the question – what if she chose the other guy?
The world’s deadliest CIA operatives, FDR Foster (Pine) and Tuck (Hardy), are inseparable partners and best friends until they fall for the same woman (Witherspoon). Having once helped bring down entire enemy nations, they are now employing their incomparable skills and an endless array of high-tech gadgetry against their greatest nemesis – each other. THIS MEANS WAR features a funny supporting cast, including Chelsea Handler, Angela Bassett, and Abigail Spencer.
Our Take: I would call this movie a chick flick; with that being said, I have watched it several times since receiving it! I have always enjoyed watching Reese’s movies, she is always so… perky. Reese plays Lauren Scott, a product reviewer who hasn’t met the right man yet. When her friend sets her up on a matchmaking website, she meets Tuck. Right after their first date, she meets FDR. Friends and co-workers soon find out that they both have dates with her. The comedy ensues when they both try to sabotage each other and try to win Lauren’s heart.
