The Polar Bear Horizon has been reviewed by the Smithsonian Institution for accuracy, Polar Bear Horizon is a fun and informative story with beautifully detailed illustrations.
Our Take: Polar Bear Horizon APP Review: This story is a factual story about a polar bear and her cubs and their journey. The cubs were born in a snowbank in Alaska and it is now March it is getting too warm so they need to get out and explore! My son listened to it but he hasn’t gone back to it since the first time. Also, they do show the mama bear hunting down a seal to feed to her cubs, but they do not show her attacking the seal. “Finally, she eats a good meal and the cubs taste the meat.” is a quote from the story just in case you have little ones and you need to explain why animals eat other animals. I thought it was a cute story about the polar bears!
