The Smithsonian Institution has reviewed Polar Bear Horizon for accuracy. It is a fun and informative story with beautifully detailed illustrations.
Our Take: Polar Bear Horizon APP Review: This story is a factual story about a polar bear and her cubs and their journey. The cubs were born in a snowbank in Alaska, now in March. It is getting too warm, so they need to get out and explore! My son listened to it but hasn’t returned to it since the first time. Also, they show the mama bear hunting down a seal to feed her cubs, but they do not show her attacking the seal. “Finally, she eats a good meal, and the cubs taste the meat.” this is a quote from the story in case you have little ones and need to explain why animals eat other animals. I thought it was a cute story about the polar bears!
