Restaurant.com has a Cincinnati dining guide that will help you save money at hundreds of local restaurants. With this helpful resource, users can browse participating restaurants by neighborhood, cuisine type, and entree cost, among other features
Restaurant.com is one of my favorite ways for Jason and me to try new restaurants without breaking the bank. We are skeptical about trying new places because we don’t wanna waste a lot of money if our taste buds don’t care for the dish. Two tricks that I have learned from ordering Restaurant.com gift certificates is to:
(1) order a “give a gift.” This allows you to choose restaurants as they become available. Often, many popular restaurants get sold out and don’t get reloaded until the beginning of the month. Plus, if you are traveling, you’re able to redeem a gift anywhere in the United States.
(2) I only order gift certificates when the $25 gift certificate is $2 or cheaper.
There are several times throughout the year {especially around holidays} that Restaurants.com runs a promotional offer discounting gift certificates. When the price becomes $2 or cheaper with a Promo Code, you better be sure that I’m ordering a few!
Over the course of my 3+ years of blogging, I’ve heard others complain that with the stipulations, it’s not worth it to purchase a Restaurant.com gift certificate. In short, you still save money. When you purchase a gift certificate for $2, here’s what a typical bill would look like:
Purchase Gift Certificate for $2 with Promo Code + minimum purchase of $35 + 18% Gratuity ($6.30) = $18.30 dinner that would’ve cost $35+ dollars.
I also enjoy giving Restaurant.com gift certificates as birthday and Christmas gifts. Our extended family is a bunch of foodies, and this allows them to try new eateries as well. We all love Italian food, and for some reason {guessing all the fresh ingredients} it’s always so expensive for us to dine, so we’ll grab a gift certificate to Restaurant.com.
Ordering a Restaurant.com Gift Certificate is super easy:
1. Head to Restaurant.com
2. Click “Find Restaurants” and Enter Zip Code or City (if wanting to use it on vacation!)
3. When you find a restaurant(s) you’d like to purchase, click “Add To Cart”
4. Upon checkout, enter “SUMMER” in the PROMO CODE box in the upper right corner.
*Note: If you don’t see any restaurants that interest you, click “Give A Gift”. Then once you see a restaurant you’d like to dine at, you can redeem your gift! This is typically what I do.

Might try the Helen of Troy restaurant in Tulsa–there are only 6 in eastern Oklahoma that are part of this, so would be more likely to send it to my daughter in CA.
