Hey guys, it’s Marci Loehner, Dena’s Sister in Law {the greatest person she knows!}! I’m so excited to be introducing a new feature beginning this week. This week I am featuring Leanne Lee, She’s a media personality living in Parkville {Kansas City}, MO with 3 boys {twin 14 year old boys and their older 17 year old brother!} and her love, John. The past 14 years the Diva of DIY has ran a very successful business, ReKindled Spaces. She’s also been featured in a variety of home shows and media outlets. She recently won the ’15 Trendsetter of the Year Award from Home + Garden. She will be traveling to Home Shows across the country so be sure to keep your eye out for her!

Leanne’s greatest acheivements this far was appearing and helping Chef Robert Irvine and his crew on Restaurant Impossible makeover the Double H Ranch. If you are in the Kansas area you will find her on Kansas City Live every Wednesday as she shares her love of upcycling and DIY’ing with the viewers of KCL. Ok so how super simple is this? Leanne has turned a ordinary place mat into a Valentine’s Day pillow! As you may know I’m no crafter, but, I will admit I will be keeping my eye out for super cheap place mats so that I can try my hand at this DIY project.

    I LOVE this. How cute would it be to get the kids involved and create pillows for their beds? I’m totally doing this one. Thank you for the ideas.
