Hey guys, it’s Marci Loehner, Dena’s Sister in Law {the greatest person she knows!}! I’m so excited to be introducing a new feature beginning this week. If all goes well this will become a weekly feature here at TheReviewWire.com so be sure to spread the word and visit the featured website as well as the websites listed in the link up below. Let’s get started!
This week I am featuring Leanne Lee, DivaofDIY.com. She’s a media personality living in Parkville {Kansas City}, MO with 3 boys {twin 14-year-old boys and their older 17-year-old brother!} and her love, John. For the past 14 years, the Diva of DIY has run a very successful business, ReKindled Spaces. She’s also been featured in a variety of home shows and media outlets. She recently won the ’15 Trendsetter of the Year Award from Home + Garden. She will be traveling to Home Shows across the country so be sure to keep your eye out for her!
Leanne’s greatest achievements this far were appearing and helping Chef Robert Irvine and his crew on Restaurant Impossible makeover the Double H Ranch. If you are in the Kansas area you will find her on Kansas City Live every Wednesday as she shares her love of upcycling and DIY’ing with the viewers of KCL. This week Leanne is sharing a super simple project with you and it’s one I may even try…
A No-Sew Valentine’s Day Pillow!
Ok, so how super simple is this? Leanne has turned an ordinary placemat into a Valentine’s Day pillow! As you may know, I’m no crafter, but, I will admit I will be keeping my eye out for super cheap placemats so that I can try my hand at this DIY project.
If you would like to learn how to create your very own no-sew pillow (it doesn’t necessarily have to be for Valentine’s Day!) from a placemat head on over to DivaofDIY.com.
Do you have a DIY project that you would like to link up to? If so, leave your link below. Be sure to visit the websites below to find Super Super DIY projects that can be completed with ease!
Also, if you like this new feature please leave a comment and let me know! The more interaction this receives I’ll continue it and grow it as I’ve done with some of the other weekly features. Take some time today and have a Super Simple Sunday! CHEERS!
