Our Take: My four-year-old is all about the superheroes now, especially now with the release of the movie Avengers. So when I was able to review these two Avengers apps, he was so was so excited. This app is read by Stan “The Man” Lee and you can collect 6 hidden Avenger symbols throughout the story. I have not heard of Namor, prince of the undersea kingdom Atlantis before this. The story takes you on an adventure of how the Avengers defeat Namor. There are several interactive screens like melting the ice that encased The Cap or protecting the Avengers by moving Caps shield. This app also has several mini-games that can be played as different characters. This is one of my son’s favorite games just because it has all the characters in it. I like it because not only is it a story but little activities along the way to keep him busy. This app is for both the iPad and iPhone and runs $5.99.

Avengers Origins: Hulk

In this latest version of the “Avengers Origins: Hulk”, this app allows you to unlock the Hulk in the “Avengers Origins: Assemble!” App Mini-Game! Plus Read Along and Explore the Hulk’s Origin Story with this Incredible Interactive Marvel Storybook! For both iPhone and iPad and runs $3.99.

Our Take: The Hulk is read by Stan “The Man” Lee and in this story you can collect all 6 Hulk symbols by searching around for the Hulk fists. This app is full of action scenes and music! This has fun little extras like roaring as loud as you can to transform the Hulk or tapping the screen to break through a wall.
