Now that my son can read, he really enjoys reading almost anything he can. I received this Bigsby Interactive Story Buddy with a book, read along CD, a free app and access to digital story time online. Bigsby, an interactive story buddy that responds as you read the story which is included. Bigsby’s Best Friends is about Sam the outgoing, friendly new kid in town who follows giant footprints on the ground, only to find the extremely shy Bigsby. Sam treats Bigsby like he would anybody else, and the two become fast friends. Bigsby learns the power of friendship.
Not only is he super cute, my son likes the interaction when reading with him. There are three other Bigsby books available: Bigsby’s Borrowed Shoes, Bigsby’s Big News and Bigsby in the Big City, each containing key phrases that he’ll respond to. Each book reveals more phrases and more things for Bigsby to say.
Hallmark offers a whole line of Interactive Story Buddies. Other story buddies include Jingle and Bell (husky pups), Cassidy (a horse), Winnie the Pooh, Scooby Doo, and a variety of bunnies and bears.

These books are so nice! I love that they interact with the kids as they read.I also love that you can get different books to go with the different buddies.
Why haven’t I heard of Bigsby. I must be getting old. I would love to win this for my daughter…she is 25 but autistic and loves stuffed animals. She can read although I don’t know how much she comprehends but I encourage her reading. She lives in a residential placement and I know they work on these skills

What a fun way to get kids reading! Reading should be fun and the cute characters and interaction really make it come alive.
Cool, I like that thes Hallmark animals interact with the books and that there are more apps and books available for children to use to expand their love of reading. I like how each book builds Bigsby speech with new phrases and responses.
The price on these seem really reasonable. Does each character only work with books related to them? Or can they use any of the books?
My girls love to read books so I know they would love this. I think it is so cute.
I love these books. Our 5 year old grandson has a real love for books. this would be wonderful to add to his collection!
We do a lot of reading with the kids so to have this interact would be awesome and make it even more fun
I love that these books talk about friendship! My grandson will enjoy that the book comes with an interactive plush!
