While I an not a big fan of yoga, I have tried several classes in the past. Gaiam offers products for those who love yoga, and products for those who don’t like eco-friendly products for your home, apparel and overall wellness products.
I received the Hooded Studio Wrap from Gaiam for my review and I went with castlerock which is a light gray color. I wanted a lightweight sweater, that I could wear in the summer (yes, I do get color in the summer) as well as in the fall, and this seemed perfect. Once it arrived, I noticed how soft on both the inside and out it was. The site does claim “cashmere-like softness” . It is made from one of my new favorite material, bamboo! It is 60% rayon from sustainable bamboo, and 40% Sorona jersey. It is lightweight and thin…great to wear in the summer just as I was hoping for.
It is hard to tell from the picture on their site or my picture below but the wrap is made up of both a solid and honeycomb material, both just as soft, but this wrap is not solid in style. Also, it features unfinished edges. Some might not like the “unfinished look” but it just gives it a more casual look. I have worn this several times already this summer, it is a very casual, comfy wrap!

It looks very comfortable, and the color will go with most things.I love looking at all the stuff on Gaiam’s site…. unfortunately, a lot of it is too pricey for me.
Yes, I could have done without the hood, but being that it is so light I barely notice it.
The clothes look very comfortable and casual.
I don’t care for the hood, but the rest of the wrap looks comfy and soft.
What a beautiful wrap. have ordered from Gaiam several times and overall have been very happy with the items I received, other than the fact that sometimes the sizes do run a bit small, so you need to order a size up.
Love the sweater – dress it up, wear everyday – it goes well. I wouldn’t think of it as a workout sweater at all. Doesn’t look like yoga wear but everyday. Love it! I will have to check this company out. My daughter in law is needing some workout clothes, and she loves yoga. It looks like they have something for everyone.
