Did you know that Orbit has come out with two new flavors of Gum For Kids? I received the strawberry banana flavor to try, Orbit for Kids is also available in original bubble gum both and both are sugar-free. Gum is a convenient way to protect your children’s teeth between brushings!
Trying to get my kids to brush is a tedious task but I know I am not alone. I have tried toothbrushes with characters on them, ones that sing, ones that glow to remind them just how long they need to brush and of course different kinds of toothpaste. It is just something that I have to remind them every day to do and keep yelling, “two minutes”! Hopefully, one day they will just brush without me reminding them. According to my nine-year-old, “It takes too long”. Really…really…two minutes twice a day is too long?! Crazy kid.
Two of my three kids chew gum and I always buy the sugar-free kind, you can save between 10-15 calories! As you can see my little one liked the strawberry banana flavor. Not only is it available in a 14 piece pack but Micro Pack Multi-Pack Bags, 10-packs of 6-tab micro pack envelopes. You know what happens when you give kids a pack of gum, it seems to disappear the same day! I like the smaller packs of gum to hand out to them, less for them to waste.

Strawberry banana is flavored I would enjoy, too. 🙂 With kids, brushing is a chore something they have to get done before doing something else. It’s great that products are out there to help them keep their teeth clean and healthy even when they slide on brushing. The only other thing I might suggest is instead of having a brush that plays music play their favorite song while they brush. Have them move their hips on feet like dancing as the music plays and they get their teeth cleaned.
I have no problem getting kiddo to let me floss and brush her teeth, she then brushes and sometimes she even ‘flosses’ too, but she’s only 3…and sometimes she doesn’t want me near her mouth :/ I’d love this for those random times.
