What’s that? What did you say? Speak up, I can’t hear you! You’re starting to fade out!
Aggravating right? But a fact of life is you use a cell phone. And today, how can you not have a cell phone?
But choosing which cell phone to have is not a simple task: just walk into any cell store or discounter and you’ll be overwhelmed by the choices in phones and usage plans.
But hold on. I’m here to tell you about a new cell phone called the Clarity Pal! It looks neat and sexy and it has features not found on most phones like bigger buttons and a simple keyboard layout and really clear, great audio. And in the two weeks, I’ve lived with Clarity, I’ve never had a single faded call or had to tell the caller to speak up because I couldn’t hear them.
Clarity is designed for people who want a basic phone that can very easily make and receive calls and check voicemail. The phone features Bluetooth connectivity so you can use it hand free in a car or as your primary phone at home, hooked up through Bluetooth to your cordless phones.
The keypad buttons are big, and real buttons, not the kind of buttons on many current phones. The buttons and corresponding numbers and letters are easy to see. The screen is big enough to be able to navigate through the phones’ functions without squinting your eyes. And get this, when you enter a number, you can have the number audibly called out as you enter it. Or when you call up a number from memory. (This feature can be defeated.)
Clarity measures four and a half inches long by two inches wide and a quarter an inch thick, neat and compact, fitting smoothly into pockets or purses. It weighs in at less than five ounces, battery included!
Having used flip-style phones for the last five years, I found Clarity very comfortable to carry and easy to use; although I did read the manual, I didn’t need to refer to it to navigate through the very intuitive menu functions. The screen is very bright and the icons very legible and the menu functions self-explanatory even to those of us who are not tech-savvy.
Clarity is all about being able to hear a phone conversation or voicemail clearly, and the phone really comes through. Not only can you increase the volume, but you can also control the tone. There’s also a neat ‘Boost’ button on the right side that brings the volume up even louder if you need it.
Clarity is not for you if you want to do texting or play video games. But if you want a sleek-looking phone that is very, very easy to use and has really outstanding call clarity, then Clarity is the phone for you!

This looks like a great phone when you don’t want or need all the frills.
