Have you ever been involved in a project or making dinner and your cell phone rings? Just as you finally find it, it stops ringing. Well, VTech has a solution for you. The VTech 2 handset connect to cell answering system can be used to connect 2 of your cell phones to ring through the same receiver as your home landline. This phone can be used with existing landline, cable or VoIP (voice over IP) service. The system comes with a base unit, 2 handsets, 1 earpiece, and 1 headset.
I found this system easy to set up and a breeze to sync up with your Bluetooth enabled cell phone. All of your phone book contacts can be imported to your new VTech phone with the touch of a button. All you do is place your phone beside the base unit and click the sync button to begin the sync. The system does all the work. Once the cell phones are synced up with the base, it is active. When a call comes into any of the lines set up from the base, the appropriate indicator light (cell phone 1, landline, or cell phone 2) shows which number is ringing into the handset. You just press the corresponding button to answer the call.
There are 3 sets of instructions in the box, each one progressive in its depth of instruction. If your issue can not be resolved with one of the instruction sheets, you are instructed to go online to VTech’s website for further instruction.
I like this product! It is so nice to be able to talk hands-free while making dinner or doing chores, and not have to scramble to find my cell phone! Let’s face it, no one calls when you are sitting there ready to answer, it always rings when you’re engrossed in something!
