When I saw Tandem Lane, I immediately fell in love with the idea behind this service. Tandem Lane is a monthly subscription box service specifically for seniors. This service is different than others I have seen in that it lets you send a personalized note and pictures to the recipient right in the box.
Every month, Tandem Lane will contact you to see if you have any pictures and a personalized note about what has been going on or special events in your life. How great is that? Did grandma miss the birth of a grandbaby? Include pics of the new bundle of joy. Was dad unable to take that trip to the beach with you? Send him a picture of the kids in the sand with the saying “We Miss You”!
This month’s box was called, A Trip To The Farmers’ Market. Celebrate spring with a trip to the market! The first thing I noticed was the Welcome Card with product descriptions, it was almost as large as the box and the text was large print, making it easy for elderly eyes to read. Since I was reviewing this service, I received several other cards so I could see what the past boxes were like. Each box contains 5-6 different products centered around that month’s theme. There were Spring Beginnings, with six products to help kick off spring. Discover France (I which I would have received this!) filled with six products to whisk you away. And the last card was Winter Comforts which offered five wintery products to snuggle up next to fire with.

Personalized Letter and Pictures: I received a random letter along with pictures since this was a sample box.
I have not come across a monthly subscription box like Tandem Lane out there, from the large print detailed product cards to the products that seniors would enjoy to being able to personalize your box with your very own pictures and a letter, make this service all worth it.
