It has been a while since I have shopped at Meijer, and I was really quite impressed when I stopped in last week! I wanted to pick up just a few items for dinner and to see if they had a certain Lego for my son. I can honestly say that the shelves were stocked, everything that was on sale was clearly marked with the yellow sale tag, and everything that I noticed had those tags, the items were in stock.
As soon as I walked in I was greeted with all these pretty Poinsettias and a display of holiday baking goodies, sprinkles, cookie cutters, and icing. I then ventured over to the Christmas section to check out the ornaments and stocking stuffers. Lots to choose from.
Did you know Meijer has a Gift Finder Guide? There are three simple steps, pick out who is on your list, pick out the category(s) that they enjoy (food, DIY, outdoors, etc.) then pick out your budget. Now, I did this for my 9-year-old son, I picked sports as what he liked and picked $25-$50 as the price range. There were two pages of results and I’ll be if the first gift that showed up was the SKLZ Pro Mini Hoop…the same thing he asked Santa for!
I am not kidding when I say that the toy shelves were stuffed with toys upon toys. They were stacked higher than I have seen, I was actually kind of overwhelmed.
My five year old just “had” to get a little something for his grandmother’s puppy, Sadie. There were several different displays for pet supplies, so that was easy enough.
Looking for a pet idea? Get a small stocking and fill it will your pet’s favorite treats and toys. Easy Peasy!
Meijer really did have it all, from the holiday dinner, gifts, stocking stuffers – for anyone on that list and the decor!

I wish there was a Meijers somewhere near me. I know you can shop online but this is the kind of store I like to browse through.

They don’t have any in my area.

I simply love the Meijer stores. Unfortunately, there are none in the state of Florida that I am aware of; however, whenever I travel north to the midwest, I try to do my shopping at the nearest Meijer store.

Dena and I share the same Meijer and we both hardly ever shop there. With the coupon policy being limited it is much harder for me to be a savvy shopper while at Meijer. However, I will give it to them they typically have every sale item in stock and if not, they are happy to write a rain check!

I have never heard of Meijer. I wish we had them in my part of the country.

I’m so jealous you have a Meijer! I wish we had one. I can’t believe all the toys they have! So glad you were able to get some of your shopping done.
