ROOM tells the extraordinary story of Jack (Jacob Tremblay), a spirited 5-year-old who is looked after by his loving and devoted Ma (Brie Larson). Yes, I read this book and it was excellent! I took it with me everywhere because I couldn’t wait to read what would happen next. I’m always in the process of reading some book or another, but it takes a great one for me to carry it everywhere I go. I like the trailer and I hope this film comes to a theater near me because I will definitely go see it!

I heard an interview with the author on NPR and it sounded like such an unusual take on a sensationalistic story. I am curious to see the film but I’d like to read the book first.
