RingStix Review

When I saw the RingSix I was nervous having sword-like playing toys for MY kids to play with. I thought that one of them would surely run in crying, “He poked me!” But after receiving them and now playing with them for almost two months, I can say that not one child has gotten hurt!

RingStix Review

 The RingStix Pro Set comes with 4 Stix’s with red grips, 1 Red Ring, 1 Glow-in-the-Dark Ring, and a Carry Bag for storage. The tips of the stix are not pointy, they are flat so any accidental “pokeage” that might occur, won’t hurt as much as a pointy stix. The first day I received these my son took them out to play by himself. Then when he came in he said, “That was FUN mom, come out and play with me!” It takes a bit to learn how to get the ring to launch where you want it and it sure does give you a workout.

The premise of the game is simple, 2 players pass the ring back and forth using two sticks per player. To launch the ring place both sticks through the ring. Next, pull the sticks quickly apart causing the ring to be launched. Those suckers can go pretty far too! Just be careful playing around trees too, because it is a ring, they can get caught on the branches. Good thing I have two kids who aren’t afraid to climb trees!
