I was lucky enough to receive a pair of HOTPANTS from Zaggora.com. HotPants have been taking the UK by storm, and I was selected through the Mom Bloggers Club to be among the very first US women to try them out!

Even though I was excited to be among the chosen few to try them, I was unsure just what the heck they were. I was thinking that they would be like shapewear. Once I received them and did a little research, I understood. Celu‐Lite™ technology is embedded into HOTPANTS, making it reflect your natural body heat to promote deeper warming of your body tissue, creating up to 80% more sweat. They claim that you can lose two jeans sizes in 2 weeks. I’m game!

Well, I have had them for two weeks now but have only worn them for a total of 11 days. When I took them out of the package, they reminded me of scuba gear made of neoprene, so they had a bit of a foamy feeling. As soon as I tried to put them on, I thought, hell no, there was no way I could squeeze into these! But I did squeeze into them, and after wearing them for a bit, I honestly forgot I had them on.

They say you can wear them by themselves or under your clothes. Since I was not confident in wearing them on their own, I opted to wear them under my pants all day long. One downside if you just wear them by themselves, to run in, for example, is that they make noise. If you wear them to the gym to work out, don’t even think of trying to pull them back up after you pull them down, let’s say, to use the restroom (since the pants absorb sweat). At least for me, I had a hard time. But other than that, I didn’t have any problems when I wore them every day. I did not work out in them as I cannot go to the gym yet because of the torn tendon in my ankle, but I did go to the mall to walk around. That day, I could tell the difference in just a day. I did a lot of walking and built up a good sweat, which was evident in my pants. They do need to be hand-washed and hung dry, which is a downside. After wearing them, even after the first day, I did notice that my legs felt smoother. But as of today, I am still in my same-size pants, but they do feel a bit loser. I will still wear them because I know they are working by all the sweat and heat I can feel. I think I just need to use them longer. I would recommend these HOTPANTS!
