This month’s Orange Glad box felt like Christmas had come early! Three desserts were wrapped in pretty bags and tied with the baker’s twine, which is all the rage now. Inside the bags, the treats were then sealed in an additional cellophane wrapper or baggie. While pretty, it seemed excessive, but if the decorative bags did not have stickers, they would have been reused, although I could use them as a backdrop for the pictures below. As a scrapbooker, I love collecting tidbits that I can use on my page layouts. Come check out this month’s selection.
First up, we have a Hazelnut Cheesecake Brownie from the Chocolate Maven. This brownie contains Italian Hazelnuts and rich, creamy cheesecake swirled into a Belgian Chocolate Brownie batter. There is just real flavor in these brownies—they have nothing artificial! The Chocolate Maven bakes each dozen in an individual tray for the perfect chewy texture. Each tray is then hand-cut into twelve 1/3-pound brownies, then wrapped up and shipped out.
This is Orange Glad’s debut of their Ice-Dream Sandwich. This cookie contains only Flour, Sugar, Butter, Powdered Sugar, Milk, and Eggs. The filling sits between two crispy sugar cookies. Bravo Orange Glad!
Next up we have freedom Star Sugar Cookies from Gianna’s Homemade Baked Goods. These cookies are only offered for a limited time at Gianna’s, from April through September. These were the kiddos favorite.
This Orange Cranberry Muffin Top from Seattle’s Favorite Gourmet Cookies and Dessert Co. was the best from this month’s selection. I love just the top of the muffins so I am glad to see an oversized version. This citrusy muffin contains orange zest, orange extract, dried cranberries and is topped with an orange sugar glaze.
Lastly, we have Chocolate Babka from Lily’s Bakery Shop. Lily’s Kosher Babka cakes are light yet dense and filled with chocolate. I have never tried a Babka cake, and this was a bit too rich for me, but I think it would pair nicely with a cup of coffee for breakfast.

Fun treats to receive each month. The muffin top sounds like it would be my favorite, too.

Oh my goodness, these desserts look absolutely delicious! I think I’d especially like the cranberry muffin. The price really isn’t that bad either. I also save little pieces of paper and decorations too. 🙂
