What do you keep the thermostat set to during the winter? Me? Well, we keep it set to 70. But I still get chilly and need to toss on that sweater even when I am at home. Do you and your significant other fight over the setting? You’re probably not alone.
As people turn to their thermostats, some Gender Wars may ensue! Who keeps the house warmer? How do you keep warm when your spouse won’t turn up the thermostat? These questions will be asked across the nation this winter. Below is an infographic with fun facts on portable heaters and how the sexes are bound to battle.

We like to keep it at 75 degrees ,as we live in the shadow of a dormant volcano. We have one creek in back, and one in front. There is also one that comes up under the house. So it gets pretty damp around here! So a heater like this would help us out majority, and, since we heat by wood the house takes six hours to warm back up when we go away for a while. My husband wears his jacket while he feeds the fire , and I hide inside a heated blanket. So crossing my frozen fingers, and toes, I hope you pick me to win!!
