HALO is a company that is committed to helping babies everywhere sleep more safely and stay warm. A father who lost his daughter to Sudden Infants Death Syndrome (SIDS) invented the HALO SleepSack. Since 2003, the American Academy of Pediatrics has suggested using wearable blankets as a SIDS prevention measure and the HALO SleepSack has become America’s leading wearable blanket and the first choice of hospitals nationwide.
Halo offers several products along with their many different SleepSacks, including Layettes, Technical Comfort System Clothing, and Gift Sets. They even have a Big Kid Wearable Blanket which features foot holes and runs up to size 4/5T. I received the Big Kid’s SleepSack Wearable Blanket for my 3-year-old son. It reminds me of a snuggie blanket but for little kids. The foot openings provide mobility and comfort. The wearable blanket helps prevent kids from kicking off their blankets at night, so they stay warm and comfortable all night long! It is very easy to put on and the zipper starts at the top to the bottom so kids aren’t tempted to play with the zipper or talk it off. He likes wearing to help him “stay cozy”.
When my kids were little they loved to be swaddled. And during the winter we would always put them in a sack type of jammie. It made it so easy to change them during the night. Just unzipping them, instead of trying to struggle with putting their feet into the footie PJ’s. This is a combination of both the nighttime comforts that babies (and parents) love. The SleepSack Swaddle (pictured above) will keep your little one warm and cozy all night long and you’ll have added peace of mind knowing they’re sleeping safely.
