I was just at the doctor’s last week with my son who needed a strep test (luckily it turned out negative) and we were talking about all the Flu cases that they are still seeing in the area. She said the CDC just put out a news release stating that this strain of the flu will probably be going around until May…MAY!! She also said that February is the peak month for flu symptoms. While the flu is certainly no fun for anyone, stay in bed catching up on some TV shows or movies, and drink plenty of broth, provided you can keep it down!
I am pretty sure that our house was hit in December with the flu. How about your family? Have you been one of the lucky ones not to have it?
So what are some of the flu symptoms?
- Fatigue
- Chills
- Headaches/Body-aches
- Runny Nose
- Cough/Sore Throat
- Fever of 100oF or higher (but not everyone with the flu gets a fever)
- Nausea/vomiting

My daughter has had the flu since this past weekend. I have been dosing up with the Dayquil Severe and I started running a slight fever but that was it. This stuff is well worth the money!
