Have you heard of the new Clorox Ick-tionary? It is a compilation of messes, all messes, even those that include the icky every-day to over-the-top situations that everyone can relate to. We have all had them especially if you have kids, you know what I am talking about. Like when you change your little baby boy’s diaper and the cold air um…gets the best of him and you. Or you are in a restaurant having a nice meal celebrating Grandma’s birthday and your little one without any indication starts throwing up…at the table!
My word that was chosen to be in the Ick-tionary was:
- AwesomeSauce: Something that is really really awesome
Now while, AwesomeSauce is not usually associated with something icky, unless it is said sarcastically. AwesomeSauce can be used to describe something that is well, awesome. Or this term can be used to describe something that is really awesome, but in a sarcastic way like watching poo shoot from a baby’s bum to the wall…3 feet away. The first time I heard the word AwesomeSauce was on Parks And Rec. and I have been saying it ever since.
A few words that have made it into the ick-tionary include Germs of Endearment (when your precious little one sneezes in your face), Scummy Gummies (when gummies end up with all types of fuzz), Up The Back (or what I call The Blowout), and Poop-edo (a poop in the tub). While checking out the ick-tionary, you are able to click on the thumbs up if you have had the same thing happen to you…it’s ok to admit it!
