Update 9/10/16: Here are several pictures that were taken during The Cheese Fest. My husband and I had a fun time right up until the massive thunderstorm! We were able to make the rounds to all the tables, trying all types of cheese, and salami. Then we got to vote on the best mac & cheese and the best-grilled cheese sandwiches, plus it was all you can eat which sounds good…. but you fill up pretty fast!

Included in our VIP ticket was the beer and cheese pairing class. A little Moerlein beer tasting and a little Murrays Cheese samples to round out the day.

My only criticism of the event is that they had this large grassy open area, the event tables were spread out in a large circle, but no tables! This made is hard to carry our food and drink and try to eat. I would like to have seen a few bar tables, picnic benches, chairs…. something so we could sit and enjoy the food. Included with the VIP tickets, private porta-potty’s for the VIP ticket holders, they were in a trailer… trust me this is a big deal for us ladies!
