Filtered water. In this day and age, can you even imagine a world without some way to filter your water? Absolutely NOT! Tap water is known to be filled with contaminants, chlorine, fluoride, and a multitude of characteristics that we humans find offensive to put into our bodies. Not to mention that it tastes awful. There are a lot of different options out there for water filtration, and Brondell has added its filtration system to the list of possibilities.
The H2O+ Cypress countertop water filtration system is a solid unit that can be connected to your kitchen faucet or you have the option to connect it to your water supply directly. The unit is quite large and sits on your kitchen counter so that it can be accessed with ease. The filter was very easy to set up. The directions were very clear and all the connectors that you need to set it up were included. It took less than 5 minutes to get it up and running. After letting the water flow for 10 minutes to rinse the filters, we were drinking filtered water in 15 minutes from start to finish.
The filter is very easy to use. There is a switch that directs the water to the filter from the faucet that is easy for both adults and children to use. There is also a button on the filter itself that controls the flow of water from the filter. This makes sure that you don’t waste water and it keeps things nice and neat since the unit doesn’t leak. The only challenge with using the filter is that the unit is a little big and you need enough counter space since it is a stand-alone unit. Because the water comes out the front of the filter, you just need to put your glass under the spigot to dispense filtered water. You can also install the water connection under your sink with an available T-valve which is sold separately. Overall, I am pleased with the water filter. The water tastes good and you can tell that there is a significant difference between the tap water and the filtered water.
From the Brondell Website: The 3-stage Cypress water filtration system utilizes three separate advanced water filters, dramatically reducing industrial chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, turbidity, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), microorganisms, and bad tastes and odors. Reduce harmful chemicals like Atrazine; Chlorobenzene; Trihalomethanes; Methoxychlor; Endrin; 2,4-D; Benzine; DBCP and Aesthetic Chlorine from your tap water for a healthier home and family.
