I loved the movie! I bought the DVD tears of joy edition hoping to see the alternate ending but cannot seem to find how or where to go, if someone could please tell me!

I haven’t had the chance to see this movie yet, but I love all Nicholas Sparks novels and especially the ones that are made into movies. My current favorite is Safe Haven.

This sounds like a lovely movie. I’m always looking for tender, hope-filled movies I can watch with my nieces; so many films today are bleak and seem to focus on despair or ugliness, or elevate unhappiness and cynicism. Not so with this one, I’m sure.
I’ve been a fan of Nicholas Sparks for years. I’ve read the book “Best of Me” and it was really good. I’m sure the movie is just as good.
