Toy Story Showtime! By Disney
Dolly wants to have a talent show. So all the toys have to decide what they will do for the show. You can drag, tap and shake the device each time Buzz tries a new talent, who is trying out different talents. He needs the right one to impress Jessie. During the story, all words are highlighted when they are read and then when certain keywords are clicked, the definition is given.
There are several games within the app like a Simon Says game where you have to tap the buttons in the right order to make buzz dance. You can also create a dance for Buzz then watch him move to the beat.
There is also letter recognition, where you need to drag a missing letter to the word. The words are the same that were used in the story: impress, melody, practice, perform, proud, routine, spectacular and talent.

I like how it reinforces things by using words that were just in the story. That is smart!

Sounds really fun. My oldest son (10) has a friend that has this on his parents old iPhone, and he really enjoys playing it. We have android phones, so I’m patiently waiting for the android app 🙂
