The Little Witch at School By SlimCricket

This story is about Little Witch and the other witches and wizards at Chickenwich Elementary School who are taking their first witchery and wizardry examination. They need to transform their cuddly toys and give them new life by making their cuddly toys become the soul of their new sorcery book. That way their favorite toys will stay with them throughout their whole life. There are several different games (or exercises) that need to be completed with your kiddos help, so that the Little Witch can pass her exam. The games include a paint by number activity, form the magic words (spelling game), go through the stomach of the ogre (a follow the pattern game) and answer the questions at the foot at the one hundred year old tree to receive a piece of magic fruit. Find out why Little Witch has no name and how she created rainbow colored magic that brought her cuddly stuffed animal to life, a feat that would be remembered at the school forever!

The Little Witch at School App

My son has enjoyed playing this newly released app about the Little Witch. The story offers both Ready To Me and Read by Myself and three levels of difficulty that can be easily changed. One of the cool features about this story are the gyroscope effects, it makes the story almost “pop” when you tilt your device, the screen image moves as well. There is also plenty of interactive fun on the pages with little blue dots to let you know what to touch. Make sure to be on the lookout for SlimCricket throughout the book as well, finding him and completing all the tasks will lead you to a surprise at the end of the book that you will need to unlock by playing the different games.
