This is the newest app from Toca Boca. In Toca Train, your child is the train driver in this fun and friendly train simulator. The controls are intuitive and there are no written instructions. Just pull the levers, push the buttons and start exploring the island with your train!
This app is a little different in that it is not a game! To move the train, you just move the lever up to 3 different speeds. You get to decided when and where to stop and what to explore. You can play as the conductor, pull the lever to blow the whistle, and scroll around the scene for a neat 180-degree view. This is just a fun app with no rules or points to score. They do state that it is for kids ages 3-7 and having 3 kids who love to play, seems a bit off. I can’t see 6 or 7-year old staying interested in it for too long unless they just absolutely LOVE trains.
