Disclosure: My kids are participants of the Nintendo Kid Reviewers program and received this free Miitopia Package, but no monetary or other compensation. All thoughts and opinions are their own. Their experience may differ from yours.
We have just received our latest game package from Nintendo, Miitopia: An Epic face-off between Good & Evil. Along with the game, they sent some goodies that relate to different jobs featured in the game. We have a chef’s hat, a light-up wand, a Link Amiibo, a microphone, and a Link hat.
Miitopia is rated E for Everyone. However, the 3D mode is recommended for ages 7+. My son Grant who did the review is 10, and boy, was he excited to play this game! He had already been customizing trailers on the demo for this game.
In this new RPG (role-playing game) from Nintendo, you can use your Mii characters, friends, and family to fight evil throughout the land and save Miitopia from the Dark Lord. You can cast the characters in roles across the kingdom, manage friendships, and give them jobs with distinct stats, abilities, gear, and a custom look. Grant thought it was a good game and appropriate for any age. It holds his attention for a couple of hours, and then he wants to play something else. As a parent, I think seeing our faces on monsters and animals is funny.
