LEGO has just created a fun new site called “Minifigure Family”, where you can create your own custom LEGO Minifigure Holiday Card. Each member of your family is customizable from skin tone, heads, torso, legs, expressions, outfits, and scenes. Getting started is easy, you can up to 13 family members including adult, child, baby, dog, and cat. Then you get to customize each family member. Start with the head: pick out your skin tone, facial expression, and hair & hats. Then move onto the torso where you can find 50 different bodies. Then the legs, the toy will find 3 pants to choose from. Then you get to choose 1 of 12 scenes to arrange your Minifigure family.

Once you’re complete you can share it with your family and friends. You also have the option to have the names of each family member appear on the card, I choose not to. Plus you get to customize your greeting from a pre-set list. This is a cute idea, especially for the little ones. My six year old loved putting together the family and creating a card.

UPDATED: THIS SITE IS NO LONGER WORKING. You can find lego minifigures on Amazon.

This is such a cute idea. I think it’s different than all of the regular family portrait cards.
