Did You Know:
Edwin Perkins invented Kool-Aid in the 1920s. The product originally began as a liquid concentrate, but Perkins found that it was easier and cheaper to ship his product when the liquid was removed, leaving only a powder.
KOOL-AID® is certainly an All-American favorite. So it’s no surprise that more KOOL-AID® is sold the week right before and the week after the 4th of July than any other period during the year.
Kool Aid has been named the “Official Soft Drink of Nebraska”
I received one of the Kool-Aid Summer Fun kits that included the new flavor; Red, White’n Blue Summer Punch, just in time for the 4th of July! I had the boys help me make it and I told them that it was magic “Kool-Aid”. They thought it was cool that it started off red but became bright blue when it hit the water.
