I received both the wireless headphones for the car and wired headphones from Kidz Gear that are designed especially for kids. I an honestly say that these are freaking awesome! My five year old loves carrying around his iPod listening to “his music” like his older brothers.
The car headphones are preferred over our current wireless headphones that we have in the car. They are just more comfortable, my son says. They do take 2 AAA batteries and they feature an automatic shut off when not in use.
The wired adjustable headphones have a soft cushion earphone that sits over the ear which makes it very comfortable. The headphones also have built-in volume control and which makes it safe for kids to use. Plus it has an inline audio control so the kiddos can adjust the volume to approximately 80% of original maximum volume. In other words, it won’t hurt their eardrums.
A great feature that I like is even if my son has the volume turned up all the way, I can’t hear the music! So now he can go around singing, “I came to dance-dance-dance” all he wants.

Those headphones look so cool! I especially like that you can’t hear your son’s music playing, even if it’s turned up all the way. My stepdaughters have some questionable taste in music at 6and 8 years old (questionable as in it’s pretty terrible and I can’t stand to listen to it) so these headphones would be awesome for any kid whose parents don’t want to listen to their music selections.
