With flipflop wines, we have embraced the movement toward individualistic expression, instead of manufacturing wines into some cookie-cutter style that’s all the rage. Our goal is to craft expressive, well-balanced wines that evoke just what the grapes inside intended, without being over-wrought or over-explained, and that can be enjoyed at any occasion. – flipflop wines
flipflop wines offer 10 very individual wines. This review for the Moscato is the fourth bottle I have tried. The Moscato from flipflop wines is a light-bodied wine with floral aromas, semi-sweet palate, and a soft, lingering finish. If you had a chance to read my first flipflop wine post you would know I am not a wine connoisseur, but I do know what I like! I like white wines with a semi-sweet taste and this Moscato definitely fits the bill! It falls into the sweet category but it is closer to the medium sweet than full-blown sweetness. At first sip, I knew this bottle was going to go fast. It was sweet and very smooth so it went down easy. I had it with tortellini and red pasta sauce although it is recommended to serve with Pad Thai, Chinese chicken salad or vegetable curry. I will certainly be stocking up on this and the Riesling, my other favorite, for entertaining this holiday season. flipflop wines run only $7 a bottle, so it is very affordable! You can also read my past flipflop wine review on their Riesling, Pinot Grigio, and Pinot Noir.
flipflop wines have partnered with Soles4Souls. For every bottle of flipflop wine purchased, Soles4Souls will distribute a pair of shoes to someone in need! How awesome is that!
