FAMILY CAMP is a faith-based family comedy from The Skit Guys, opening in theaters May 13, 2022
While there should be an endless supply, it sure feels like we are running low on hope these days. FAMILY CAMP combines hope with humor and Him in an encouraging movie.

For Tommy Ackerman, the church is a great place to be on Sunday mornings … if he can get his latest work deal closed on the back nine before the service ends. But when their pastor encourages the congregation to sign up for a week away at family camp, his wife Grace believes she’s found the perfect cure for her imperfect clan—even if they’d all rather be anywhere but at rustic Camp Katokwah.
Enter the Sanders clan. Dr. Eddie is a harmonica-playing chiropractor who sees himself as a Miyagi-like mentor for anyone who is not as spiritual as he is … which is pretty much everyone!
Soon, Tommy and Eddie are engaged in hilarious top-this battles instead of focusing on their families who desperately need them.
When all appears lost, Tommy and Eddie end up in the deep forest while hiking, truly lost. As everyone at camp desperately searches, the dads are forced to work together to discover a new direction if they hope to find their way back.
A laugh-out-loud comedy, FAMILY CAMP is the first feature film from The Skit Guys—Tommy Woodard and Eddie James. The cast includes familiar faces like Leigh-Allyn Baker (“Good Luck Charlie”), Gigi Orsillo, Cece Kelly (HALT), Robert Amaya (COURAGEOUS), and social media sensation Heather Land. FAMILY CAMP is sure to touch the hearts and tickle the funny bones of every family member from eight to eighty.

We wanted to see this movie with some of our grandkids. We enjoy faith based movies that includes tight family units! Unfortunately we didn’t get to go, because we lost a major figure in our family!!
I listen to Kirk Cameron talk about the Bible. He has a lot of faith in God!
