Epson Artisan 725 is in one word, quality. I have an Epson Workforce 310 and love it because it’s an all in one printer and is very quiet. The Epson Artisan 725 may lack the fax, but, it’s able to do a lot more than the Workforce 310.
For example, one of the features that I loved was that I was able to plug my USB charger into the printer and charge my iPhone. This is great and allowed me to have other accessories plugged into the computer while I was working. Speaking of the iPhone, Epson makes it easy to print from your iPhone. I was able to print a few pictures off as well as emails! This saved me a lot of time to be able to print as I was reading something rather than turning on my computer, opening the email, opening the document and hitting print!
The second feature that I loved about the Epson Artisan 725 has digital navigation. It is very easy to access and use to change things around. Setting up the Wireless feature of the printer was a dream! I wish everything was that easy!!!
The color quality of this printer is UNBELIEVABLE! If you are a scrapbooker or tend to print pictures at home, I would suggest giving the Epson Artisan 725 a chance. I printed a few pictures out that I had taken over the summer of Mini-Me and the colors were gorgeous, bright and vibrant. You can also stick your memory card straight into the printer and begin printing.
You are also able to edit photos without using your PC with the following features:
PC-Free Printing:
* Auto Photo Correction
* Select and print photos
* Crop, rotate and enlarge
* View and print-by-date
* Print your own picture packages
* Print passport and photo ID
* Select multiple photos to print on a single page
* Print college-ruled, wide-ruled and graph papers
* Make personalized notepaper using your own photos
* Photo index sheet
* Photo greeting cards
* Coloring book pages (Did this for Mini-Me and she LOVED it! Plan on giving as gifts for my nephews!)
I have two negative things to say about this printer. First, the non-high capacity inks are expensive and don’t last that long. However, as much as I print, I’ve invested in the high capacity ink cartridges and have noticed the ink lasts 2-3 times as long. Second, I was disappointed that the printer did not have a fax. Now I’ve got both Epson’s on my desk, trying to decide which to use! All in all, the Epson Artisan 725 is a top-notch printer.
