Love Wine? I do! But I know what I like and I am always afraid to spend the money to buy new wines that I might not care for. In steps Club W, they work with the growers and winemakers which enables them to offer small-lot wines at affordable prices.

Club W will make new recommendations each month based on your “Palate Profile Quiz” and then ship them directly to you. The palate profile quiz is 6 simple questions that have nothing to do about the wine itself, they are more about what flavors you like. Several of the questions include, “Do you like citrus” or “Do you like blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries” and “How do you like your coffee, pretty easy right.
After my profile quiz, I was sent this assortment: a 2013 Wilhelmina Riesling, a 2012 Alchymist Noir Red Blend, and a 2013 Marmont Pinot Noir. You can also indicate how many reds or white you prefer to receive each month.
After receiving your box you can rate your selection of wine which also updates your profile for future boxes. With each wine, you are able to watch a short narrated video along with food pairing information and a bit of information about the wine itself on the Club W website. You can also purchase extra wines on the site, but they are limited.
I love the idea of receiving wines that are based on my taste preferences. No more standing in the aisle guessing what might taste good!
