My absolute favorite cake is yellow cake with Chocolate Icing.
Sandy Klocinski says
I have a simple no egg, no butter, mix-in-one-glass pan chocolate cake. It tastes consistently good and has been our family birthday cake recipe for 30 years. No mixer, no greasing the pan- but it is rich and delicious.

I love baking so I bake my own. Also, my daughter bakes amazing cakes as well.
Michael Coovert says
We have a family recipe for a chocolate pound cake with chocolate fudge icing that is a requirement for any holiday or family gathering. Besides that, Red velvet is our family favorite, followed very closely behind by coconut cake. We have a few family secrets that have been passed down through the generations that make our homemade cakes taste fantastic. But they don’t always look the best. So for more public occasions, more than just family, we will order from a bakery just because they look better.

My family and I love homemade or bakery cakes. I rarely purchase from grocery stores since they do not taste that great. Our favorite flavor is anything chocolate!

Homemade cake is the best…as long as I’m not making it! I can cook well but baking is not my forte!
