If you are one of the lucky (I use that term lightly) few that still have a few more days of freedom, then I have some great information to help you prepare!
The Boys and Girls Club of America (BGCA) and Disney have partnered to launch the Tools for Back to School initiative. This initiative features a pop-quiz style game, where supplies are donated to BGCA for every correct answer you score.
In case you are unfamiliar with the BGCA, they have a host of experts, who have developed proven youth development programs and training materials for thousands of Clubs across the country. They oversee programs in the areas of education, fitness, social recreation, teen issues, bullying prevention and more!
The Round-Up
BGCA has also partnered with JCPenney! During August, you can join JCP Cares and “round up” your purchase at the register to benefit BGCA.
Tip Sheets
BGCA offers different educational content and tip sheets for parents to download and utilize. You can find them on the left-hand side of the BGCA site under the ‘Get Ready’ header.
