Don’t do anything special on the 4th. Maybe watch fireworks if they’re close.
Thanks for the contest.
Cheryl Chervitz says
We don’t do much for the fourth. Usually BBQ and then settle in for the night with our dogs. They get scared if we aren’t around.
Samantha Wagner says
The 4th of July is my husband’s birthday, so we usually do something. Sometimes it’s a cookout and others we go out to eat or something
Hayley says
I don’t usually ever get to have fun fourth of July plans, I hope this year I will! It’s always spur of the moment for me, waiting on an invitation from a group of friends or family members since I can never host. More often than not I usually just take the little girl outside and watch for fireworks from the neighbors. I once had a fantastic fourth on a lake with my cousins. It was such a huge lake and my aunt let us take the paddle boats all the way across by ourselves and shoot Roman Candles over the water. Probably not the safest thing but it was a lot of fun.
Jayne Townsley says
We do not do anything special for the 4th of July since moving to Oklahoma. The heat keeps me indoors for the most part.
Stacy says
If the 4th is on a weekend, then we usually go to my father-in-law’s house for a BBQ. He lives close to the local park that puts on the fireworks display, so we can watch it from his yard. If it is during the week though, I have to work (I work overnight) so I don’t get to do anything special. My go-to BBQ dish is either a pasta or potato salad (depends on what I feel like making) that is loaded with veggies and beans and dressed in vinaigrette. We also go to the local farm for fresh corn.
Jan Lee says
I don’t do anything special for the 4th. Just sit and watch fireworks and television specials 🙂 No special recipes, just popcorn, lol 🙂
Julie Lundstrom says
I love having family together grilling and watching fireworks.
Edye says
We don’t have any “must make” recipes. We do make desserts and always go see fireworks 🙂
Dianna says
My brother-in-law’s birthday is July 4, so we usually have dinner with them and maybe fireworks afterward. This year, they are going on vacation that week, so we might just stay home.
Tami Vollenweider says
Usually for the 4th of July,it’s only my Husband and myself,my Son lives out of state! We like to do some BBQ,Baby Back Ribs and BBQ beans,& corn from our garden! For dessert I’m planning on making a Strawberry Pie!
Cathy French says
We haven’t been out to celebrate the July 4th holiday in a few years. Hopefully we’ll connect with some family to gather and watch fireworks this year. We must have our favorite cauliflower salad during any summer get together.

I love Christmas and I love snow. The cooler weather is perfect to me because I feel like I’m one of the few people who hate the heat!
Mya Murphy says
I like winter because of Christmas.. the holiday spirit, most everything is decorated with sparkling lights… the past 3 winters, however I was homeless, so not so much fun.. I’m now blessed with a great fiance, and one awesome new lease on life… bring on the winters!!!

I enjoy the start of winter, because of the cooler weather that is coming. I also like the time change that comes with it.

What I really love about winter is wearing the cutest scarfs and boots. I also love the cool breeze and the foggy skies.

What I like most about winter is getting snow in Georgia. It’s pretty rare but so exciting when it happens!
Natalie says
What I like most about winter is being able to cross country ski. I have been doing it for 10 years and it is fun to get outside and exercise.
