This post may contain affiliate links and/or Amazon Affiliate links. Please see my full disclosure policy for details.

Elena of Avalor is a fable, set in an unspecified time period, that incorporates influences from diverse Latin and Hispanic cultures. It introduces Elena as a brave and adventurous teenager who saves her kingdom from an evil sorceress and must now learn to rule as the crown princess until she is old enough to be queen. Elena’s journey will lead her to understand that her new role requires thoughtfulness, resilience and compassion, the traits of all truly great leaders.

In Feliz Navidad: A Royal Christmas, Elena decides to host one big Navidad celebration in the park so that everyone can celebrate together. But each community is more interested in proving that their traditions are the best. Can Elena help her subjects see what the holidays are really about? Recommended for ages 6-8.

One of my holiday traditions is to bake and decorate gingerbread men and women cookies with my grandsons. They really look forward to doing that with me and they always turn out so delicious!

We like to plan, cook, serve, and share holiday meals with the same special foods. We also like to decorate the outside of our home and a Christmas tree inside.

We have several holiday traditions. One of them is going to look at Christmas lights in the neighborhood. The other is watching Christmas movies on Christmas Eve while having drinks and apps.

I love decorating – inside and out! Multi-colored lights, reindeer, trees & Santas wherever I can fit them. I blast Christmas music while I decorate so it makes it all the more enjoyable.

One of my holiday tradition is to buy each member of my family a Hallmark ornament each year. We have a little ornament opening party right after we put up the Christmas tree! Everyone adds their new ornament to the tree and hangs their ones from past years.

One of our Christmas traditions is spending Christmas eve at my grandparents’ house. We have a nice dinner, the kids all receive new pajamas, and we watch a Christmas movie – usually Home Alone.

We have tons of Christmas traditions. One is to listen to a Christmas CD while we decorate the Christmas tree. Another one is to have Christmas Eve at my inlaws, where we have a little dinner and then exchange gifts.

One of my holiday traditions is we have always let our kids open ONE present on Christmas Eve. However, we get to pick which present they get to open..haha That doesn’t always go over well, but if they want to open one, they have to listen! haha God bless and Happy Holidays everyone!
