Where Do Balloons Go? An Uplifting Mystery By Auryn Inc.
Where do balloons go when you let them go free?… The story narrated by Jamie Lee Curtis and is based on her book of the same title. It is all about the journey of a balloon when it is let go.
This story has bright bold pictures and interactive pages. You can tap the string to let the balloon go, drag a fan around the page to see the balloons float around and even view extended pages that you can scroll across the screen to get to. You can also listen to a funny “helium version” of your voice! My five year old had a fun time with this app, it is well worth the price! I do wish it was available for the iPhone though.
One cute interactive feature is the ability to send a postcard. You can write a message on a postcard, pick a postcard cover and send it to a friend.
One of the pages that we were not a big fan of was trying to find all 213 balloons that needed to be tapped at the big balloon dance, to move ahead!
One of the extra features is the Balloon Theater where you can create custom characters in the character builder, then you can go to the theater and record your voice and drag the charters to record their movements. Then save and watch your scene as a movie.
We find something new and different every time we read and play with this app!
