Our Take: To be honest, I have not heard of this version of the Three Musketeers before this. When I looked at the cover I kept thinking, I don’t recognize any of these actors…until I flipped it over! Then I saw Orlando…Orlando Bloom that is. Ok, I can give it a try. I love this time period, all the grander and costumes. While I was watching, I kept thinking ninja moves, a Mission Impossible moment, and all the slow-mo scenes? Only after I watched the behind-the-scenes special features did I find out that it was filmed for 3D. I think this movie would have been better in the 3D version, I only received the standard DVD. Some of the scenes that I thought why is it like this would look better in 3D. My little one enjoyed watching it, although there were 2 curse words that I picked up on. This movie has a lot of action that will keep you entertained just make sure to get it in 3D!
