When I came across this site, I loved the idea of a cover for my kid’s helmet. My eight-year-old is at the stage that he thinks helmets are uncool so getting him to wear one all the time is a challenge. And my five-year-old is still learning how to ride a two-wheeler so he has to wear one. But he is using a hand-me-down helmet from his brothers so I let him pick which cover he wanted. Tail-wags offers so many to choose from, they even offer them for adults.
My son went with the Gladiator Helmet Cover. It is made from a black and gray polar fleece. He loves it. It was easy to put on his helmet too, it just slipped right over the helmet. I tried all three helmets we had too and it fit them all with ease! Now my older son wants one for his helmet…whatever will make him wear it!
