I’m partnering with Kroger in supporting local businesses in and around the Cincinnati and Dayton area. Now, this opportunity was not hard for me at all as we have so many local favorites, it’s just a matter of what to have!
My husband and I are both KETO, so when I make meals, I try to incorporate side dishes that the kids will like so I grabbed a few local favs for all of us!
Grillin’ up the Blue Grass Cheesy Metts… and enjoying them!
This was a super easy and quick lunch to whip up that offered something for everyone. I was able to get everything together, all while the metts were on the grill.
I made Blue Grass Cheesy Metts on Klosterman Buns with Mike Sells Groovy Chips for the kids, and a bowl of Skyline Chili with a Greek Salad using Skyline’s Greek Dressing for my hubs and me. My husband chopped up the metts and put them in his chili and topped with Skyline Cheese. Now, any true Cincinnatian know that Skyline is best paired with their “specially made hotdogs” but you can only get those at their restaurants. Using grilled metts made it just that more flavorful. I put a little mustard on top of mine and yum!
Decisions, decisions…
This Ester Price Sugar-Free Assortment was a no-brainer for my husband and me.
The kids enjoyed Graeter’s Dark Chocolate Brownie and S’ mores Ice Cream… what I would give for a bite of both!

I love food! No Keto diet and no mustard!
I can hardly get my grandkids to eat now. I couldn’t get them to eat some of these meals if they knew what was in them. Sorry

I am not a Keto anything. I am trying to eat healthier so I can get my sugars under control and to feel better!
I do have a weakness for ice cream. I found this delicious brand of frozen yogurt called Yasso – delicious! There are more choices nowadays than before. We shop at Walmart and Jewel a lot. A few of our stores have closed.

I used to shop at Kroger a lot when I lived in Northern Indiana. Unfortunately, where I live in Florida, Kroger does not have a market. Your meal selection was a very good choice.

If I’m unable to visit my favorite store or restaurant (because of the Pandemic) , I buy a gift card. Not only do I help their business, but gift cards will come in handy down the road. Not to mention, they make excellent gifts

Hubby and I enjoy Skyline Chili when we visit Ohio. Kentucky is known for Derby Pie. We don’t make it but we purchase one already made. Kroger has mini ones that we like to split.
