UPDATE 10/2019: ePillow is no longer in business. Please visit Amazon for other iPad/Tablet holders or read our pillow reviews.
The idea for the ePillow came about when owner and inventor, Renee Anderson, just wanted a way to get comfortable while reading on her iPad. And so the ePillow was born.
OK, let’s get this straight: ePillow is a pillow for laptops, tablets or Kindle readers. It’s a bit larger than the device and padded to excess. It’s supposed to cradle your device while you sit and work. Well, sort of, except that it kept slipping on me and I was not able to find a comfortable position.
With the sudden proliferation of tablets, I-Pad’s, game devices, Kindle readers and what have you, inventors are trying to figure out how to take advantage of their popularity. I mean, look how many covers you can buy for these devices. So now we have an ePillow. The idea is so you don’t get carpal tunnel or blurred vision or something!
Look, I don’t have anything against an inventor trying to capitalize on a hot trend, but if I want to put my e-device on a pillow I can grab one of the dozen my wife has lying around. Review by Larry G.
