My tip is to pack the lunch and back pack the night before. I would also suggest to pick out the outfit the night before.

My best back to school tip or hack would be to have everything prepared and ready for the morning before school starts. It helps so there is no stress or rush after the children wake up.

I spray my daughter’s hair with lice spray every day before school. She avoided getting lice when it was passed around her class 3 times last year.

We pick up random things we know will be needed through out the year as we find it on clearance or really good sales. We always get the main school supply list for the next grade in order to see what will be needed.
Judy Elmayan says
my best back to school tip is get the list and start right away because often you may have to hit several stores or perhaps order on line which can take time. Like for my son one year the teacher wanted a towel with his name on it. I did not want to just write it on there so I custom ordered one since my sewing skills are that of a gerbil.

I wish I had some great tips, lol. The best I can offer is to expect a few bumps in the day and just deal with them. I guess that sort of sets an example for kids, lol.

My best back to school tip is to start shopping about a month early so you can get an idea of what the best prices are on individual school supplies! Shop around and check multiple ads to find the best prices!
Patricia Barraclough says
I color coded my children’s school items. Each had their own color (red, blue, and purple for my three) and their notebooks, binders, backpacks, pencil cases, erasers, rulers, etc. were all one color. No arguing about what belonged to whom, and it made it easy for them to get their things together. I started using the system for the different organizations I belong to. Each has its own color folder, notebook, and tote bag.
Samantha Wagner says
I homeschool, so I usually start our school year a couple weeks later than the schools. I just wait until everything goes on sale, and then stock up for the year.
Kasee Johnson says
I buy EVERYTHING when it goes on clearance and stash it for the next year! Very rarely do I have to make new purchases. I have noticed, though, that the summertime before-school-starts sales are pretty darn good now. So if there are specific items you think your kids might need, grab them when Staples or Office Max run a big sale.

I really like the crayola colored marker set for my five year old grandson, we would have a lot of fun using these together. He has become quite the artist here lately.
