We took our family to Monster Jam for the first time tonight and it was…wait…for…it… AWESOME!

We have never been so didn’t know what to expect and weren’t really sure if our kids were going to like all the noise. Everything went great. The kids, my son age 7, and two girls 6 and 3 loved the trucks and didn’t even notice how loud the show was. We had brought some earplugs, but we didn’t even need them. U.S. Bank Arena was set up so there were no bad seats and everyone could see the whole show. My little 3-year-old could see everything. The show seemed a little long with lots of breaks, but the kids didn’t even notice. They were so amazed by the jumps and the spinning that they couldn’t wait to see more.

Before the show started all the drivers were walking around so fans could meet them and take pictures. This set the tone for my kids. My daughter got to see that there was a girl driving the Scooby-Doo car and she was an instant fan. My son got to meet and get his picture taken with the driver of Grave Digger then cheered for him the whole night. All the drivers seemed really friendly with the fans and that was part of what made the show great.
We weren’t Monster Jam fans before tonight but definitely are now and would recommend it for a family night out!
