Can you believe that it is 19 days till Christmas? I am so behind. I just can’t seem to get ahead of this holiday season! My biggest challenge seems to be taking the annual family Christmas portrait. In between everyone’s schedule and activities, getting everyone together and dressed up for at least half an hour can be challenging. Plus, I have boys, which is nice because they will wear what I tell them to, but they get antsy…quickly. So, my goal this weekend is to take the annual picture!
The Pear Tree Greeting site is easy to use, and easy to find what type of card you are looking for. The holiday greeting cards I will be going with are horizontal flat cards with one photo and the option to pick the color. I like to match my card design to what we are wearing. This year it will be either shade of navy or shades of gray. Do you like to coordinate what your family wears in portraits, or am I just crazy? A few styles on my short list include:
Photo Paper Joy Wreath – A simple wreath containing the word ‘Joy’ says it all!
Circle of Peace Love Joy – The photo fills the front of the circle shape, and a colorful greeting in vintage type fills the back. You can change the colors of the message and choose between ‘Christmas Season’ and ‘Holiday Season’! Plus, add your name to personalize the back.
Classic Ornament – I like the idea of a card and ornament in one! A silver faux-foil look creates the cap on the top where the ribbon is threaded for hanging. On the back side, two mittens strung together to create a child-friendly border that loops and winds its way around your personalized holiday greeting. You can change the red and blue colors, and all the text is editable on these adorable holiday photo cards that friends and family can hang on their Christmas trees.
Which design do you like the most? I think I am leaning toward the ornament. In addition to all the card offerings, you can personalize gifts from a collection of art, phone cases, children’s books, coloring books, and teacher’s gifts…don’t forget about the teachers!
Luckily, there is still time to order! Most normal card orders shipped within the U.S. should arrive in 3-8 business days, depending on your chosen shipping method. This includes 2 days for processing and printing.
