Happy New Year to all our Readers!
Resolutions:
One New Year’s tradition includes making resolutions. That tradition dates back to the early Babylonians, their most popular resolution was to return borrowed farm equipment. I still have not come up with a resolution just yet, so tell me about your New Year’s Resolution!
Traditions:
Many cultures believe that anything in the shape of a ring is good luck, because it symbolizes “coming full circle,” completing a year’s cycle. For that reason, the Dutch believe that eating donuts on New Year’s Day will bring good fortune. When I read this I thought I should give it a try!
AULD LANG SYNE:
This is an old Scottish tune, “Auld Lang Syne” literally means “old long ago,” or simply, “the good old days.”
