My son, who just turned six, loves taking his dad’s iPad and watching videos on how to build certain Lego men or army bases. And it never fails that he takes off the case and watches it on his floor so he can build and watch at the same time. Now the problem with this is a: he takes the case off and walks around and b: it’s on the floor. This is where the Gripcase comes in.
I received a blue Gripcase for the iPad 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Generations. The Gripcase comes in four other colors including: black, green, purple, and red and it is available for the iPad Mini in the same colors as well.
The case has a continuous shock-absorbent light-weight foam body in which your iPad fits snuggly in. There are cutouts for all the ports and on/off button, which is all easily accessible. I had no fear of the iPad coming loose or falling out of the case.
The chunkiness of the case makes it great for little hands to grasp along with having handles on all four sides. With the raised handles, if set face down, the screen does not touch the surface. But while the foam is thick and squishy, I was worried about the front of the iPad getting scratched if tossed in a backpack. I did not perform a drop test on this although there are several others that have which can be found online, and I must say it performs quite well.
Gripcase also offers a vault, a mobile charging station that holds multiple iPads, which would be beneficial to schools. Having the Gripcase on the iPad, I do not have to worry about him carrying it around the house anymore.

The blue is fun. The case looks durable nd tough like it was meant to be used and last.
