It’s a pretty simple challenge… brush, floss and rinse with LISTERINE twice a day for 21 days.
Did you know that brushing misses 75% of your mouth? Ok… I admit I don’t floss every day, nor use mouthwash all the time. The dentist tells me every time I visit, brush twice, floss and rise at least once a day. As a busy mom sometimes minor things like that fall by the wayside. Although they shouldn’t, I mean it only takes a few extra minutes right.
I went to my local Target to pick up the items for my challenge: Listerine Mouthwash, Listerine Toothpaste, Reach Floss and Listerine Smart Rinse. At first, I went down the toothpaste aisle and I didn’t see Listerine Mouthwash… I thought there is no way they don’t have Listerine! I turned and looked at the back wall and low and behold, shelf after shelf after shelf of Listerine. There were so many to choose from, I literally got tired of looking and trying to compare each bottle. So I grabbed the Listerine Ultraclean Citrus in the orange bottle. All of them were on sale too in addition to the Listerine Coupons, I found on their website, it was my lucky day!
Listerine Smart Rinse is an anticavity mouthwash for kids ages six and older that provides 12-hour cavity protection and strengthens teeth 99% better than brushing alone. Available in Bubble Blast (blue), Mint Shield (green), Barbie Bubble Gum (pink and on clearance) and Berry Shield (pink). I picked up the mint, only because it had superheroes on it since it was for the kids.
Here are the products I picked up for my challenge. I normally use another floss that is easy to use especially on my back teeth and since I have never used a wax floss I wanted to give that a try. I am hoping that by using all these products (and sticking to it) for the 21 days, that my mouth feels fresher and I don’t wake up with bad breath…my husband will thank me for that!
Taking the 21-Day Challenge can also help children in need. For every person who posts a “Swish Selfie” to LISTERINE Brand’s Facebook page, LISTERINE Brand will make a $5.00 contribution to Oral Health America’s Smiles Across America program, up to $85,000, toward their goal of connecting 210,000 children with needed oral health services in 2014.
Disclosure: I received a Target gift card to purchase LISTERINE Brand products from Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc. and The Motherhood as part of my participation in the LISTERINE 21-Day Challenge. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this post are my own.
